Making Dinners Ahead: The Challenge

August 22, 2012

I have challenged myself to prepare a couple month's worth of dinners for a budget of $200, freezing them to be ready to use every day. I am using the book "Don't Panic -- Dinner's in the Freezer" as a guide. I was referred to this book recently and was told that the directions are very easy to follow. We have a history of eating at restaurants frequently, mainly to accommodate picky eaters in our family. However, the money we spent...whew! Can't get THAT back!

So, if you are interested in participating in a cooking adventure like this one, I'll let you know how it goes for me. It will certainly save us some money, and hopefully the picky eaters in our house will learn to adjust.
