Keep the crackers in the sleeve and squeeze it vertically, pressing the crackers together. The compression will cause the crackers to crush themselves. After squeezing the sleeve vertically, then squeeze in horizontally several times to make sure they are completely crushed.
Once you have crushed the crackers, simply open one end of the sleeve and pour them onto your casserole.
Additional Tip: Ritz crackers seem to work the best because there is enough room in the sleeve to prevent it from popping open while squeezing it.
